A SPA Nordique for the Hôtel de la Rive - Centre de congrès -Sorel-Tracy

A SPA Nordique for the Hôtel de la Rive - Centre de congrès -Sorel-Tracy

May 11, 2019

Sorel-Tracy, May 9, 2019 – The management of Hôtel de la Rive – Centre de Congrès is proud to announce the start of construction of a SPA Nordique on the shores of the St-Lawrence River.

The official opening is planned for next fall, and the spa will have a surface area of more than 7,000 square feet and will be part of the hotel. This significant investment once again highlights the Hôtel de la Rive's involvement in the region's tourism development. The creation of this new tourist attraction will create 20 new jobs.

This space, which is dedicated to relaxation and wellbeing, will be accessible to the local and tourist population year-round. The SPA Nordique will offer thermal experiences, which is a relaxation ritual that alternate between hot and cold followed by a relaxation period. Massage therapy services will also be provided on site.

Increase your wellbeing using thermal therapy. Surrounded by the sounds of a waterfall and with a spectacular view of the river, our guests can enjoy many outdoor installations including several hot baths, a cold-water pool with a Nordic waterfall, a hammam and Finnish sauna. The indoor part of the complex will include massage rooms, relaxation areas, change rooms and a healthy bistro.

This 4-star establishment offers 98 rooms with private balconies, a steakhouse and bar with heated patio on the roof, several meeting and marriage reception rooms with patios and outdoor gardens.

This spa is an important addition for the region, which will allow clients to experience something unique when staying at the Hôtel de la Rive!
